1984年7月至1986年8月于太原广播电视大学任教，获得助教职称；
1986年9月至1989年6月于郑州大学数学系基础数学专业攻读硕士学位；
1989年7月至今于郑州大学数学系任教；
1992年9月至1995年6月于四川大学数学系应用数学专业攻读（在职）博士学位；
1998年9月至1999年2月以高级访问学者身份在中国科学院系统科学研究所进行研究访问，于98年10月获得教授职称；
1999年7月至今曾多次赴香港理工大学管理系进行学术访问；
2003年以及2007年曾赴澳大利亚墨尔本大学进行学术访问；
现任中国组合与图论研究会理事，中国运筹学会理事，中国运筹学会图论与组合分会委员，中国数学规划研究会理事；
共发表学术论文166篇，其中有73篇论文发表在国际SCI期刊上。
