经过千军万马过独木桥的考研初试之后，虽然几家欢喜几家愁，但是对于能够有复试机会的同学来说，还是要为即将到来的考研复试做好准备。在这里跨考教育也友情提示各位同学，复试表现的优劣也直接影响着我们最后能否顺利进入理想学校的结果。所以，早做准备十分必要。作为各大高校考研复试的必要环节，英语口试或面试占据了一定的地位，那么我们该为英语面试做哪些准备呢?

首先，知己知彼方能百战百胜。所以一定要提前了解所报考院校历年英语复试的方式或惯例。可以通过已经入学的学长学姐，也可以直接拨打该校招生办电话进行询问，不论怎样一定要尽量多了解一下所报考院校的往年复试信息，这样才能“投其所好”。

一般来说，英语面试分为两个部分，第一部分是口语水平测试，形式可能有两种：

① 一对一：考官(interlocutors)vs 一名考生(candidates)

② 两名考官(interlocutors)和两名考生(candidates)的形式。

整个测试过程中，会有一名口试教师不参与交流，专门进行评分;另一名口试教师主持口试，随时与考生交谈并评分。专门评分的教师所给分数的权重占考生口试成绩的三分之二，主持口试的教师所给分数的权重占考生口试成绩的三分之一。

而另一部分为专业课英语复试面试，形式也分为两种：

① 专业课老师与英语老师组成一个复试团队，面试过程中专业课老师用汉语向学生提和本专业的问题，而英语老师用英文提问和考生本专业相关的问题：例如: could you give me a comment on industrial revolution and tell me what impact it had on the world ?

② 由于现在高校老师的整体素质提高，复试中由专业老师直接用英行提问。Could you talk about the existed hydraulic engineering facilities in your hometown ?

整场考试的内容可能包括：自我介绍 (self- introduction); 问答 ( Question & Answer);讨论 (discussion on …);图片描述及评论 (description & comment); 朗读( reading );一般以前两种形式为主，当然也可能同时包含以上其中的两种或两种以上。

其次，提前做好准备。当你了解了英语面试可能的形式之后，就要开始做准备，一般可以分为以下几个方面：

1) 自我介绍：

自我介绍应包含开场白，如Good morning/afternoon. I am very glad (pleased/happy)/it is my great pleasure to be here for this interview. … 或Firstly , I would like to express my thanks for all of you to give me this chance/opportunity to present myself. Well, … 开场白的存在是一种礼仪，也是引起话题的有效途径，所以不能省略。

除了开场白，最重要的是向导师说明你的个人情况，包括：中英文姓名，专业，毕业院校。如My name is … and I graduated from the college of …in …university. My major is… 或I have got the bachelor degree in …(major) from the university of… in (year)，也可以是I have been studying …(专业名) in the university of … now my undergraduate learning life is ending and I will get the bachelor degree in this June or may be July. 这里有一个注意点，请同学们一定要了解所学专业，所在本科院校的英文名字，避免不会说的尴尬。

除此之外，也可以聊一下你的性格，爱好，家庭，家乡等话题。当然不用太长，每个话题两到三句，也不用都说，可选其中一个话题或是两个话题说。

2) 常问问题准备：

自我介绍完毕后，一般会有一个自由问答式的环节，也就是所谓的talking 模式。在这个环节，老师可能问和你学习生活有关的问题，但是也可能问和你专业相关的问题，所以也要适当准备。一般来说，常问问题可能有几下几种：

1)家乡篇：

Where do you come from?

What kind of landscape surrounds your hometown?

Tell me something about the customs of your hometown.

How do you like it? why?

2)家庭篇：

Could you tell us something about your family?

What does your family usually do for the weekend?

3) “最”字问题：

What impressed you most when you were at university?

Which kind of professor do you like best?

What is the best university in your opinion?

Could you describe the teacher who influence you most ?

In your opinion, what is the most serious problem associated with modern life?

4) 考研篇：

Why do you choose to study at our institute/university?

Why do you choose this major?

Why do you change your major? (特别是跨专业考生)

5)其他跟考研有关的问题：

What are your plans in the postgraduate study?

What are your plans after graduation ?

What would you like to be doing within five years after graduation?

Should you study more theory or do more practice? Give your reasons, please.

以上是常规性院校英语面试的考查内容和方式，但是也有其他方式，比如上文提到的讨论。也就是可能在自我介绍后，给你一个话题，然后准备几分钟后，让你就这个问题进行一个简单讨论，可能是你一个人的自述，也可能是两个同时面试的学生互相讨论。在这里介绍一些讨论常用表述：

陈述自己观点常用句型：

You know what I think? I think that...

The point is...

Wouldn’t you say that...

I’d just like to say that I think...

I’d like to point out that...

询问他人观点常用句型：

Could you tell me some more about...

Could you mind telling me more about...

I’d like to know more about...

Something else I was wondering about was...

Something else I’ d like to know is...

Sorry to keep after you, but could you tell me...

反驳别人观点常用句型：

Yes, that’s true, but...

I’m not sure if I agree.

Well. You have a point there, but...

Maybe, but don’t you think that...

赞同别人观点常用句型：

That’s a good point.

Great minds think alike.

I am very agree with you in this point.

此外还有图片描述及评论(description & comment)和朗读( reading );前者的注意事项为：不要仅仅拘泥于图画中的内容，尽量拓展和开阔思维，在对图画进行描述后，应该对其中所反映的问题进行评价和阐述，发表客观的看法。后者的训练方式为提前找几篇和自己专业相关的英文原版文章，最好是找有音频的，跟读。因为这种口语考试考的就是发音。

总之，英语面试的形式比较多样化，应该立足于所报考学校的信息，酌情准备。但是在这里还是要特别说一下，无论怎样请同学们应该准备一个和自己个人情况有关的自我介绍，因为自我介绍基本是各个学校英语面试都包含的环节，也是导师了解你的一个窗口。
